Neil Louie was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, and currently lives just outside of the city of Vancouver with his partner and their two children. His work is heavily influenced by the land he grew up in as well as his heritage as a First Nation Canadian. Whether showcasing the beauty of his subjects or shining a light on the perils they face from the world around them, Neil takes care in creating images that will resonate with the viewer and share his artistic vision.
